Mr. Tambourine Man by Bob Dylan turns into a one-person-band with three open chords and a short C harmonica part. No capo, standard tuning. The tutorial builds the guitar side first: the F, G and C chords with the thumb-down-up-down-up strumming pattern, then singing the chord names while you play them so the progression locks in.
The harmonica side comes next, and it starts with Dylan's real technique: two-hole and three-hole harmonica chords for the chorus riff, not single notes. Single-note melody lines are shown after, as an easier alternative for the verses. Then it is the Air Guitar drill: you mime the strumming pattern while playing the harmonica part, so your hands learn the rhythm before the strings are allowed back in. Only then do both parts go together, guitar and harmonica, at the same time.
The practice worksheet puts the tabs and the guitar chords on one page, with a 3-day plan to get you playing. Download it below, print it, and play along with the video.
