Knockin' On Heaven's Door by Bob Dylan turns into a one-person-band with four open chords and a short C harmonica melody. No capo, standard tuning. The tutorial builds it one layer at a time: the chords and the strumming pattern first, then singing the chord names while you play them so the progression locks in, then a simple thumb-pointer-middle-ring fingerpicking pattern as an alternative to strumming.
Once the guitar side is solid, the harmonica line comes in on its own. Then it is the Air Guitar drill: you mime the strumming pattern while playing the harmonica melody, so your hands learn the rhythm before the strings are allowed back in. Only then do both parts go together, guitar and harmonica, at the same time.
The practice worksheet puts the tabs and the guitar chords on one page, with a 3-day plan to get you playing. Download it below, print it, and play along with the video.
