Eye of the Tiger by Survivor turns into a one-person-band with five beginner chords and a C harmonica. No capo, standard tuning. The tutorial builds the guitar side first: C, Dm, F, G and Am, then the progression Dm C G and Dm C F Am at 90 BPM, and singing the chord names while you play them so the order sticks. Then the strumming pattern for that iconic intro on Am and G.
The harmonica part is the chorus melody, almost all on holes 4 and 5, with a short climb to hole 6 at the end. Then it is the Air Guitar drill: you mime the strumming pattern while playing the melody, so your hands learn the rhythm before the strings are allowed back in. The full song runs twice, guitar and harmonica together, first at 90 BPM and then at 100.
The practice worksheet puts the tabs and the guitar chords on one page, with a 3-day plan to get you playing. Download it below, print it, and play along with the video.
